I’m Proof That You Can Achieve This!

Hi, I'm Sarah – Registered Dietitian & certified business strategist.

Back in 2017, I longed for more too.

I was stuck in my NHS role, knowing that I’d reached the glass ceiling. I was an 8b Consultant and it still didn't feel like 'enough'. The only thing I could expect ‘more’ of was stress, burden and red tape.

Losing my mum suddenly to cancer was the jolt I needed to make a change. It was time to take my private practice sideline seriously.

So I studied everything I could find on business and digital marketing and set about turning it into a profitable business... And it worked!

Within just 2 years I’d gone from full-time NHS Dietitian to doubling my 8b NHS salary running a hugely successful online paediatric nutrition business.

And now that business helps thousands of parents and their children in a way that feels easy and aligned.

But the real joy is in having the freedom to do what I want to do and spend more time with my husband and teenage children, one of them has additional needs so being there for her is a gift…

That freedom has given me capacity to develop 'Dietitians In Business' and my podcast 'Beyond The Clinic Business' - which means I'm helping other registered health professionals achieve this freedom too.

But No One Teaches Us How To Build A Successful Online Business at Uni

And no one translates the business & marketing skills you can learn into the world of health.

So I went away and invested tens of thousands of pounds to learn.

Previously in my career I'd been an NHS Director & Manager, so I had plenty of business knowledge. And so I set about implementing my new skills alongside this knowledge to see what happened.

I applied the strategies and tactics I'd been taught, tested them, failed (because they don't all work when you're dealing with peoples health) and learned why.  A lot of the big USA coaches methods didn't land with a British audience and so I had to adapt, tweak things and just tried again, and again, and again... 

I kept going until I found exactly what we as health business owners need to know and do to harness our unique skills and expertise – and turn them into profitable and client centred businesses.

And you know what? There's no 'one size fits all' approach to business! So a lot of the generic courses don't actually lead to consistent clients.
